SAP Solution lead (Job No 1016)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Solution Lead with over 15 years of deep functional and technical expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end SAP FICO solutions aligned with business goals. The role demands strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, and a proven record of successful SAP project deliveries, including S/4HANA transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary FICO lead for SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into SAP FICO solutions.

• Lead the solution design, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO modules.

• Drive S/4HANA migration strategy and execution, including simplification, data migration, and Fiori enablement.

• Provide expert guidance on FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) and CO (CCA, PCA, COPA, Product Costing) processes.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, PS) to ensure seamless integration.

• Lead and mentor junior consultants and offshore teams.

• Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.

• Conduct workshops, training, and change management initiatives.

• Support month-end/year-end closing processes and compliance requirements.

• Work closely with finance leadership to ensure system alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support.

• Minimum of 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

• Strong experience with integration between FICO and other SAP modules.

• Deep knowledge of finance business processes and industry standards.

• Experience with data migration, including LSMW, BAPIs, and SAP Migration Cockpit.

• Excellent knowledge of configuration, customizing, and enhancements.

• Strong understanding of Controlling processes: product costing, profitability analysis (COPA), internal orders, etc.

• Exposure to taxation, localizations, and compliance requirements across multiple geographies.

• Experience in leading teams, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with Fiori apps and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Exposure to Central Finance is a plus.
