AIX Administrator(Job No 1061)

key Responsibilities:

• 8+ yrs experience
• IBM P series 9/10 Admin is main role 
• Install, configure, and maintain AIX systems 7.1/2/3, including hardware like IBM power E1050, P950
• Install,configure  VIOs,HMC
• Install/ configure/Migrate  LPARs
• LLDs of LPAR profiles
• Knowledge of GPFS cluster
• Worked on NIM environment ,mksyb backups , imaging etc
• Develop and implement scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AIX systems, including configuration files and technical notes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AIX technologies and best practices.

Technical Requirements good to have

• Strong knowledge of AIX operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AIX scripting languages, such as Python or Perl.
• Familiarity with AIX system management tools, such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Knowledge of AIX security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with AIX virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM.
• Strong understanding of AIX networking protocols and configurations.
