Performance Test Engineer(Job No 1131)

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios using JMeter and LoadRunner.

• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to understand system architecture and requirements.

• Simulate load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests to evaluate system behavior under varying conditions.

• Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, etc.) during tests.

• Document performance test approaches, results, and root cause analysis of identified issues.

• Provide detailed reports with graphs and insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter and LoadRunner.

• Strong understanding of performance testing types: load, stress, endurance, and scalability.

• Proficient in scripting, parameterization, correlation, and test execution using JMeter and LoadRunner.

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana) is a plus.

• Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS, web services, REST APIs, and protocol-level debugging.

• Good knowledge of analyzing server-side metrics, logs, and performance counters.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into automation frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation is a plus.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
