Requirements Overview:
The Lead Android Engineer will guide the Android development strategy and champion excellence across the mobile practice. This role focuses on hands-on delivery, mentoring, and driving adoption of modern Android technologies while playing a central role in CoE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and deliver high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and modern development tools.
• Define and promote Android development guidelines, reusable patterns, and testing strategies.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and learning plans. • Collaborate with CoE leadership to assess team skills, create learning paths, and support career growth.
• Engage in cross-platform alignment efforts with iOS and React Native leads.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and performance standards.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional Android development experience with deep Kotlin expertise.
• Solid grasp of Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, and modular development.
• Strong coaching skills and a passion for growing engineering talent.
• Experience in establishing or contributing to a Center of Excellence is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems, dependency injection, and performance profiling tools.
